Jeff Jones, President: Mr. Jones specializes in health, environmental, and regulatory policy analysis and increasing the efficiency of interactions between Delta's clients and government regulators. Before starting his own firm in January 1981, he was Director of the Energy and Environmental Systems Group for Industrial Technology Associates, Inc. (ITA). Prior to undertaking his consulting career, Mr. Jones served as a member of the EPA Administrator's staff and was associated with the Interagency Regulatory Liaison Group. In this position he provided management and policy analysis support to top officials of EPA, FDA, OSHA, and CPSC coordinating their respective agencies' regulatory actions on toxic substances. He served in several positions in the Office of Pesticides and Toxic Substances.
Cristina Griffin, Project Manager: Ms. Griffin has over 25 years of experience with regulatory policy and compliance. Since 1990 she has assisted Delta clients with all aspects of pesticide registrations and other environmental and product compliance issues. She works with clients in developing their pesticide registration strategy, initiating studies required for registration, resolving regulatory issues, and understanding the complex and ever changing pesticide regulatory requirements. She prepares all types of pesticide registration application and amendment packages for submission to the Environmental Protection Agency, and the State of California. Her work on other regulatory compliance includes providing guidance on regulatory requirements for labeling of hazardous and non hazardous consumer products, providing assistance on compliance with Federal Trade Commission packaging and advertizing requirements, preparing submissions for the National Sanitary Foundation for non food compound certifications, providing research and analysis of regulatory issues as needed. Prior to joining Delta, Ms. Griffin was the chief of the Policy Section in the Environmental Protection Agency's Superfund program. Ms. Griffin had direct responsibility for developing policy and guidance for the emergency removal program related to Superfund requirements, compliance with RCRA and other laws (SDWA, CAA, CWA, TSCA), and enforcement. She has also served in several positions in EPA's Office of Emergency and Remedial Response and worked in EPA's Office of Air and Radiation. Ms Griffin is fluent in Spanish.
Donna Leventhal, Senior Regulatory Analyst & State Regulatory Analyst: Ms. Leventhal's expertise is in reviewing labels and advertising copy for EPA compliance, assisting with record keeping reporting requirements, preparing annual federal filings, and managing State pesticide registrations. She has been responsible for developing, computerizing and maintaining our state registration capabilities and has registered and handled annual registration renewals for over 230 products. The work involves understanding the nuances of each State's regulatory requirements, keeping up with constant changes in state regulations, filing quarterly mill tax reports and annual sales reports where applicable, and staying in close contact with State officials. She has also conducted company audits for state regulatory compliance and worked on various research projects for Delta's clients. Prior to joining Delta, Ms. Leventhal worked as Assistant to the Vice President for Government Affairs for Pullman, Inc.; Assistant to the Vice President for the National Association of Letter Carriers; and law offices specializing in civil litigation and forest industry lobbying.
Debbie Davison, Junior Regulatory Analyst: Ms. Davison works closely with the project manager in assisting clients with their pesticide regulation needs. She prepares and submits all types of pesticide registration application and amendment packages for submission to the Environmental Protection Agency, and the State of California. She helps edit clients' product labels for accuracy in meeting EPA requirements. She updates clients product status reports to make sure they are on target. Prior to joining Delta, Ms. Davison worked as a human resource manager/recruiter in a variety of fields including computer consulting, medical and clerical. She has also managed residential and commercial properties.
